Seven
- The lighting was quite dark- This help set a much more grimy and gritty atmosphere which is much more suitable for a thriller film.
- The music used within the trailer was slow tense music- Using the slow tense music, helped emphasise suspense and fear into the film.
- Detective and criminal- This is the media technique that is used in all different types of media platforms, such as books, films, etc. The technique is called binary opposites.
- The use of camera shots were used such as close ups- The use of the close up in the trailer allowed the audience to get a good view of the characters facial expression which showed fear and anxiety.
- The use of props also helped the audience watching the trailer, know what type of thriller the film is like, for instance there are guns shown in the clip, which shows that is an action-thriller.
- The use of titles and subtitles are used in the trailer to give the audience more institutional and extra information about the film, such who produced the film, other actors, etc.
- Another type of camera shot used in the trailer, was a tracking shot that helped the audience follow the action in the film and it involved one of the characters jumping over a car.
- The use of voice over editing was used again to give the audience more detail about the film, such as the release date.
- The trailer was split into 3 different sections , that involved different setting, such as a police HQ, autopsy room and city streets.
- Throughout the trailer, the weather shown is the same as it is always raining which is like pathetic fallacy as it kind of represents the characters feeling of being sad and scared.
