The film contains a wide variety of things which make the
film look as good as it does, for instance they firstly create the trailer to
look like are normal cartoon film that is set out for a kids audience, with all
these different types of foods or shopping product all happy that they being
bought, then there is a quick switch of music and lighting and then you realise
that the film is not for young children with all these different types of
swearing and adult humour being used throughout the rest of the trailer. The
way the trailer is made to persuade audiences to watch the film when it comes
out, is by the simple way of how they made it out to look so innocent, but then
they quickly change it to an adult comedy with all these stereotypical jokes,
rude language and just rude adult behaviour.
There are also many other reason for why the trailer is very
persuasive in making people to watch the film when it actually comes out is
firstly the star power. As the film was created by Seth Rogen, there were bound
to be a wide variety of well actor who was doing the voiceovers for the
characters in the film and in Sausage party’s case there were actors including
Seth Rogen himself, Edward Norton, James Franco, Michael Cera, etc. The footage
that was brought out of the film before it was actually out in cinema was also
a big reason for why the audience was
persuaded to watch the film, such as the first trailer that I watched of
Sausage Party was persuasive because the film was so different to normal
cartoon film. For instance they made the film out to be a nice normal kids
cartoon but then there was a quick change in music and colour and you can tell
that the cartoon definitely isn’t a film for kids and by doing this it made
audience like young adults and teenager more interested in seeing the film.
A good start to your research.
